Dr. Kitzmiller

Hi, I’m Dr. John S. Kitzmiller. I’ve been caring for families in Apex and beyond for over 20 years, and I truly love helping patients feel confident about their smiles. After earning my dental degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry, I served 12 years as a Dental Officer in the U.S. Army, providing care around the world—from Germany to Africa and Bosnia.

In 2002, I opened Apex Dental Group with a vision to create a practice centered on trust, compassion, and comprehensive care. I’m also proud to be Board Certified in Comprehensive Dentistry by the Federal Services Board and have completed advanced implant training at the Triangle Dental Institute.

Every day, my goal is simple: to provide gentle, high-quality dentistry that helps patients enjoy lasting oral health and a smile they’re proud to share.

Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, staying active outdoors, and being part of the Apex community I’m proud to call home.

Tiffany S.

Practice Manager

Hello, I’m Tiffany, and I am the Practice Manager at Apex Dental Group. I’ve been in dentistry since 2005 and have had the privilege of working directly with patients as well as managing the many facets of a dental practice. I am dedicated to ongoing education and staying current with advancements in modern dentistry, and over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience in almost every area of the field.

I truly enjoy helping patients achieve their dental goals in a way that feels personal, comfortable, and aligned with their individual needs and expectations. My goal is for every patient to feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their dental journey.

Outside of the office, I love spending time with my husband, our five children, and our dogs, who bring constant joy and laughter to our home. Family time is what recharges me and keeps me grounded.

Providing high-quality dental care with genuine compassion and understanding is what drives me in this profession I love so much. I look forward to being part of your path to a healthier, happier smile.

With experience as a Dental Assistant II and now as a registered dental hygienist, I truly value building meaningful relationships with patients and taking the time to understand their unique needs and concerns. Outside of the office, I enjoy reading and spending quality time with my family and our fur babies. I believe that a healthy smile contributes to a happier life, and I’m honored to be part of each patient’s journey toward feeling confident and cared for.

Hi, I’m Angelina! I’m a Registered Dental Hygienist and earned my degree from the Dental Hygiene program at SUNY Broome Community College in 2017. I have a strong commitment to clinical excellence and take pride in providing the highest standard of preventive and therapeutic care. I am passionate about patient education and value building trusting relationships to help each patient achieve and maintain their optimal oral health.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and our twin daughters.

Anastasiya Y.

Dental Assistant

My name is Anastasiya, and I was born and raised in Belarus. From a young age, I’ve had a strong passion for medicine, originally drawn to forensic science and criminalistics. Although my path ultimately led me to dentistry, I have come to deeply appreciate this field and the impact it has on patients’ lives. It is incredibly rewarding to see how modern advancements in dentistry have transformed the patient experience—especially for children—making visits more comfortable, positive, and even enjoyable.

In 2019, my family and I relocated to the United States due to my husband’s career. I am a proud mother of two wonderful boys, and I cherish every moment spent with my family. Outside of work, I love being outdoors, especially when hiking or biking.

I recently had the privilege of joining the Apex Dental Group team, and I am honored to work alongside such talented and compassionate professionals. It is a joy to be part of a team that is truly dedicated to exceptional patient care.

Bookkeeper

Hi, I’m Angela! I’ve had the pleasure of serving as a part-time bookkeeper at Apex Dental Group for over two years. Prior to joining the team, I spent 10 years in medical billing and owned my own business for 33 years, including two franchise locations. These experiences have given me a strong foundation in business management and a deep appreciation for supporting a practice that values both excellence and compassion.

Outside of work, my husband, Mike, and I enjoy traveling, walking, biking, and staying active in our church community. I’ve also always had a passion for dancing—it’s not only my first love but was also my very first career.

I’m grateful to be part of the Apex Dental Group team and look forward to continuing to support our wonderful patients and staff.
