The Dentists |
Dr. John Kitzmiller III has 15 years experience as
a general dentist, is a Diplomate of the Federal Services
Board of General Dentistry, and a member of the American
Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry
and the North Carolina Dental Society.
The son of a retired Naval Dental Officer, Dr. Kitzmiller
received his bachelor of Arts degree from Wake Forest
University. In 1988,as a commissioned officer in the
United States Army, he graduated from the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry
and attended a one year residency at Fort Benning, Georgia.
His assignments include Kaiserslautern, Germany, Fort
Sam Houston, Fort Hood, and Fort Bragg. He
was also deployed to Zimbabwe, Africa and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Upon graduating from the
Advanced Education in General
year program at Fort Benning, Dr. Kitzmiller earned the distinction of becoming
a board certified dentist in Comprehensive Dentistry by the Federal Services
Board.
His military awards include the Expert Field Medical Badge, Army achievement
Medal, Army Commendation Medal and Meritorious Service Medal. Dr.
Kitzmiller transitioned to civilian
dentistry in 2000 with a successful 2 year associateship with Dr. David
Dickerhoff and the staff of Spring Lake Dental Group in Spring Lake, North
Carolina. |
Dr.
Robert Calabria, originally
from Philadelphia, attended the Temple University
School of Dentistry. He served over twenty years
in the United States Army and retired as a Colonel
in 2001. While stationed at
Fort Bragg, Fayetteville, North Carolina, Dr. Calabria served
as the Deputy Commander of the Fort Bragg Dental Activity and
as a faculty member of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry
Residency. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists. He and
his wife, Judge Ann Marie Calabria, and their
three children reside in Cary, NC. In his spare
time, Dr. Calabria enjoys running marathons
and ultramarathons.

Rosanna Marquez is our associate dentist and joined our practice in
June 2007. She graduated with honors from the University of the Philippines,
College of Dentistry, in 1985 and from the University of North Carolina, School
of Dentistry, in 2005. Before moving to North Carolina in 2001, Dr. Marquez practiced
dentistry for 11 years in San Francisco, California. She taught part-time at
the dental schools of both UNC and the University of California in San Francisco.
In addition to enjoying the practice of family/general dentistry, Dr. Marquez
is also a specialist in Prosthodontics, having completed her specialty training
at the University of Illinois in Chicago, College of Dentistry, in 1988. Prosthodontics
is the dental specialty that involves the rehabilitation of lost or broken dentitions,
utilizing crowns and bridges, dentures, and dental implants.
Dr. Marquez enjoys swimming, biking, and spending time with her two children, Ana and Ian.
